Today after breakfast proceed for Athens city tour. It will gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex. Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Today the day is at leisure. Lefkada is famous for all over the world for the exotic beaches, Lefkada island is a fabulous place to visit for summer vacations. This island of the Ionian Sea, geographically located west of the Greek mainland, has the most amazing sea colour. Beaches, like Porto Katsiki, Kathisma and Egremni, are among the most photographed places in Greece. The exotic waters of Lefkada island in the Ionian Sea are hard to beat. The west coast is home to long stretches of sandy beach running below some impressive cliffs ending to deep blue sea, while the east coast are more sheltered from the wind. Optional Tour : You can opt to visit the dolphins cruise at Amvrakikos gulf, or visit Melissani cave at Kefallinia Island.
