Athens Travel Package Itinerary

Today, you will enjoy a full-day city tour of Athens, exploring its historic monuments and other ruins. Some of the places you will explore include the Parthenon, the Ancient Agora of Athens, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of Hephaestus, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Erechtheion, the Roman Forum of Athens, the Theatre of Dionysus, and the Hadrian’s Arch.

Don’t miss some modern monuments like Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games was held in 1896, the Presidential Mansion, the Maximos Mansion, the National Archaeological Museum, the National Library, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Acropolis Museum is also a must-visit with famous masterpieces like the Propylaea and the Parthenon West Frieze.

After breakfast, you will move to the Athens Airport to catch your domestic flight to Lefkada. After completing the check-in formalities, you will spend the rest of the day exploring places in and around the hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful Lefkada Island, famous for its beaches, churches, and monasteries. Lefkada is a fabulous tourist place with lush vegetation, picturesque villages, and secluded beaches with turquoise waters. Some beaches you must visit include Porto Katsiki, Kathisma, and Egremni. Spend the night with a candlelight dinner at one of these beaches.

Spend your day at leisure enjoying the beautiful beaches, some of which have impressive cliffs ending to the deep blue sea. You can also take a dolphin cruise at the Amvrakikkos Gulf or visit Melissani Cave at Kefallinia Island.

Bid adieu to Lefkada as you check out of the hotel and head to Lefkada Airport to catch your flight to Athens. Spend the night in Athens.
