Day 1 – Arrive In Athens

On arrival at the Athens International Airport, our tour manager will help you transfer to your hotel. Check into the hotel and relax.

Athens is a beautiful city famous for its ancient ruins, friendly bars and café, and delicious food. With our Greece Holiday Package Itinerary, we’ll unravel the beauty of Athens. Spend the evening relaxing around the hotel and exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 2 – Athens City Tour And Acropolis Museum

After a scrumptious breakfast, head on for a busy day of sightseeing. Athens is famous for its historical landmarks, ancient architecture, vibrant neighbourhoods, and excellent street food. Some of the places you will cover include

Panathenaic Stadium – This is the world’s only stadium built entirely of marble. It also hosted the world’s first modern Olympic Games in 1896.

The Temple of Athena Nike was built around 427 BC to honour Athena Nike, the goddess of victory.

The National Library – This beautiful building is home to over one million books, magazines, and handwritten codices. It also houses the world’s finest Greek antiquities.

Some other monuments you’ll visit include the Maximos Mansion (Prime Minister’s residence), the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy of Athens, and the Constitution Square.

After lunch, you’ll visit the Acropolis Museum. This museum includes architectural masterpieces from the golden age of Athens. Some of the renowned statues in the museum include the Erechtheion’s Caryatids, the Head of the Statue of Alexander the Great, and the Statue of the Calf-Bearer.

Day 3 – Athens To Santorini

After breakfast, head to Santorini via ferry. The 4 to 5 hour journey from Athens to Santorini is scenic as you enjoy the Aegean Sea. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the neighbouring places around your hotel.

Santorini is famous for its clear waters, the beautiful whitewashed home perched atop rugged cliffs and mesmerising shores.

Day 4 – Explore Santorini

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast buffet spread featuring the best of Greek cuisine. Next, move on to explore the different attractions in and around Santorini. This romantic getaway is a sought-after destination with beautiful scenery and charming architecture. You’ll visit Akrotiri, Ancient Thera, the Santorini Wine Museum, etc. You can also visit the Volcano and hot springs beside the island’s famous Caldera.

Day 5 – Santorini to Heraklion

After breakfast, move on to Heraklion via ferry. The journey takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes and will be memorable thanks to the beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. After you arrive in Heraklion, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring places close to the hotel.

Day 6 – Heraklion

Heraklion is a port city famous for its archaeological sites, historic buildings, impressive fortresses, and fish taverns along the waterfront. You will visit the Knossos Palace, the Minoan Vineyard, and the Heraklion Archeological Museum. The Knossos Palace was built over 9000 years ago and is the oldest known settlement in Crete. Some of the attractions in the palace include the oldest throne in Europe, an ancient theatre, water management systems, frescos, storage jars, and various sacred symbols. Knossos is a Bronze Age archaeological site believed to be Europe’s oldest city.

Day 7 – Depart Heraklion

Bid goodbye to Heraklion and Greece as you proceed to Heraklion International Airport to catch your flight back home or continue with the next leg of your journey.
