After a hearty breakfast, you will set off on an adventure to explore the Eastern Desert. Your first stops will be at the fascinating Al Kharraneh Castle, the renowned Amra Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and Al Azraq Castle, which holds historical significance as the place where Lawrence of Arabia once resided and penned a portion of his famous book, "Seven Pillars of Wisdom."

From there, your journey takes you to the extraordinary Dead Sea, a natural wonder nestled in the Jordan Valley, just 55 kilometres southeast of Amman. The Dead Sea is a place of unparalleled beauty and spiritual significance. It's the lowest point on Earth, and its waters are rich with natural salts that have collected over millennia, concealing treasures that have formed over thousands of years. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel in Amman. You'll have the evening to relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Day 3: Amman to Petra - Exploring Madaba, Nebo, and Little Petra

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast and get ready for a journey filled with history and beauty. Our first stop is Madaba, a city renowned for its stunning 6th-century Mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Here, you'll also discover the breathtaking Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, as well as the charming St. George's Church.

Next, you will head to Mount Nebo, a place with a significant mention in the Bible. It's the very spot where Moses was granted a glimpse of the promised land that he would never enter. Take in the panoramic views and feel the connection to this ancient tale.

Our adventure continues to Little Petra, also known as Al Beidha or "the White One" because of its pale rock hues. Little Petra, or Siq al‐Barid, is an archaeological gem situated to the north of Petra and the town of Wadi Musa. This Nabatean site showcases buildings carved into the sandstone canyon walls. Despite being smaller than Petra, it's a place of immense historical significance, featuring three open areas linked by a 450-metre canyon.

As the day comes to a close, you will be making your way to the charming town of Petra, where you will spend the night at your hotel comfortably. Enjoy a delicious dinner before settling in for a restful night.

Day 4: Exploring the Marvels of Petra - Petra City Tour

Get your day off to a great start with a tasty breakfast, and then set out to visit the awe-inspiring Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra. This remarkable city holds a place among the world's seven wonders and is a cherished UNESCO World Heritage site.

As you step into the city, prepare to be enchanted by a captivating journey through a narrow gorge that extends for 1 kilometre. This gorge is flanked on both sides by colossal cliffs towering 80 metres high. The rocks here display a mesmerising array of vibrant colours and unique formations, adding to the wonder of the experience.

Within the bounds of Petra, you'll discover a vast expanse featuring an array of intricately carved rock tombs, a treasury that tells tales of ancient riches, Roman-style theatres that resonate with history, temples, sacrificial altars, and elegant colonnaded streets. It's a true testament to the artistic and architectural brilliance of the past. After an enriching day of exploration, you'll have the evening to unwind at your own pace. You'll spend the night at the hotel in Petra, where you can enjoy dinner and rest.

Day 5: Exploring Petra and Venturing into Wadi Rum

Brace yourself for an exhilarating adventure as we delve into the heart of the Jordanian desert on a 1.30-hour jeep ride through Wadi Rum.

Wadi Rum, as described by the legendary T.E. Lawrence, is a place that is "vast, echoing, and god-like." The locals affectionately call it the "Valley of the Moon." Prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking landscapes and the surreal, almost otherworldly ambiance of this unique desert wonderland. At the end of the day's adventures, you will rest at a hotel in Wadi Rum. Enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind.

Day 7: A Day of Leisure in Aqaba

After a hearty breakfast, today is a day for you to unwind and explore the charming city of Aqaba at your own pace. Aqaba is renowned for offering everything that makes diving in the Red Sea truly exceptional, minus the bustling crowds that you might encounter in Eilat or Egyptian resorts. While its coastline may be relatively short, it packs a punch with a treasure trove of underwater wonders.

Within the confines of a protected marine park, you'll discover 25 diving sites that beckon with their shallow coral gardens, dramatic pinnacles, deep canyons, and intriguing shipwrecks. It's a diver's paradise, and you can take your time to revel in this aquatic playground. After a day filled with exploration and underwater adventures, you'll return to your comfortable hotel in Aqaba for a restful night.

Day 8: Aqaba's Delights

Following a delicious breakfast, today unfolds as another day at your leisure. For those seeking extra excitement, there's an optional tour available (additional charges apply). Aqaba has more to offer beyond its captivating waters. You can explore the atmospheric Mamluk fort, a historic gem dating back to the 14th century, and immerse yourself in the fascinating Aqaba Archaeological Museum.

Once your sightseeing is complete, take a moment to relax and savour a local brew at the welcoming Al Firdous Cafe, where you can soak in the local atmosphere. As the day comes to a close, return to your hotel in Aqaba for another peaceful overnight stay.

Day 9: Aqaba to Amman - City Transfer

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, and then it's time to bid farewell to your hotel in Aqaba. You'll be journeying from Aqaba to the vibrant city of Amman. You'll spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Amman.

Day 10: Amman City Tour - Jerash - Ajloun - Back to Amman

Following a satisfying breakfast, get ready for a captivating city tour of Amman. This adventure will take you through the heart of Jordan's capital, starting from the city centre and heading to the old Gold Souq. Along the way, you'll have the chance to sample some of Jordan's most popular Arabic sweets.

Our journey continues to the bustling Rainbow Street, where you'll find a plethora of charming coffee shops and restaurants. From there, we'll pass through Abdoun, showcasing the newest and most modern part of Amman.

Our next stop is the ancient Roman city of Jerash, known for its paved streets, grand temples, theatres, public squares, baths, fountains, and formidable city walls. It's a mesmerising step back in time.

As we venture further into northern Jordan, we'll reach one of the most significant ecological and historical sites in the Middle East: Ajloun. The Ajloun Castle, also known as Qal’at Ar‐Rabad, is a remarkable example of Islamic architecture. It was constructed in 1184 AD under the command of Saladin's general. The purpose was to oversee the iron mines of Ajloun and to counter the advancements of the Crusaders by controlling the three main routes to the Jordan Valley and safeguarding the communication routes between Jordan and Syria. You'll spend the night at a hotel in Amman.

Day 11: Farewell Amman

On your last day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check out of the hotel. It's time to make your way to Amman Airport for your flight back home, carrying with you a trove of unforgettable memories.
