Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to visit Menor's Ferry and the Chapel of the Transfiguration, both of which hold a special place on the US National Register of Historic Places. After the tour, return to your hotel in Jackson Hole for a restful overnight stay.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast. It's time to check out of your hotel in Jackson Hole and wait in the lobby for your transfer to Jackson Hole Airport. There, you'll catch a flight to Rapid City, South Dakota (please note that the flight is not included). Upon arriving in Rapid City, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can unwind and spend the night.

Today, you will begin your adventure by heading to the nearby Fort Hayes Chuckwagon for the pickup of your Mt. Rushmore tour. While Mt. Rushmore is undoubtedly famous for its iconic faces, the Black Hills have so much more to offer, and this tour provides the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the region.

Your first stop will be Mount Rushmore, where you will spend an hour taking in the grandeur of this remarkable monument. Next, you will set off for a scenic journey along the Peter Norbeck National Scenic Byway, winding your way over Iron Mountain through tunnels and pigtail bridges.

For lunch, you will make a stop at the former presidential summer white house for Calvin Coolidge and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Here, you will have the option to order from a menu or take part in a buffet.

Continuing your exploration, you will pass through Custer State Park and travel up Needles Highway, passing through more scenic tunnels and enjoying breathtaking views from scenic overlooks. Your final stop is at the world's largest mountain carving. You'll have the chance to visit the memorial, explore the museums, and gain insights into the sculptor Korzak Ziolkowski through his home studio museum. After this captivating tour, you will return to your hotel in Rapid City for an overnight stay.

As you conclude your visit to Rapid City, it's time to check out of our hotel. We will then arrange for your transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination or back home.
