Itinerary

If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you mustn’t miss our special GOT Spain vacation package itinerary, where we’ll take you across the iconic cities where the series was filmed.

Day 1: Arrive at Seville

After you land in Seville, our tour representatives will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Once you check in and freshen up, you can head to the hotel's dining area for a delicious lunch. You will have the rest of the day to spend at your own pace.

Day 2: Real Alcazar

On your second day, the tour guide will be taking you to visit the Real Alcazar, the location for the Water Gardens of Sunspear, the ancestral home of House Martell in Dorne. This palace was shown to be the private retreat of the Martell family. Take your time exploring the gardens, fountains, and many rooms showcased in the show. Four locations within the Alcazar were used – the Ambassador's Hall, the Mercury Pool, the Charles Pavilion, and the Baths of Maria de Padilla. The Moorish palace appears in Seasons 2, 6, 7 and 9 of the series.

Day 3: Seville - Italica - Osuna – Seville

For your third day, you will first visit Italica, an ancient Roman city and the location for filming the final episode of the seventh GOT season. The Italica amphitheatre helps recreate the ruins of Dragonpit, which was once a dragon stable for the House of Targaryen.

Other attractions in Italica include the Casa de los Pajaros, the Edificio del Mosaico de Neptuno, and the Casa del Planetario.

Head back to Seville for lunch, from where you can leave for the town of Osuna to explore the famous Bullring of Osuna showcased in the show's fifth season, along with the location that formed the fictional city of Meereen. Head back to your hotel in Seville at the end of the day.

Day 4: Seville – Barcelona

On Day 4, you will travel from Seville to Barcelona on a high-speed train. Upon reaching Barcelona, our tour representatives will take you to the hotel, and soon enough, you will board a luxury car for a private sightseeing tour.

The driver will take you around to see some of the most popular sites in Barcelona, including the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, the Gothic Quarter, and the Picasso Museum. Spend the day going around the mesmerizing city of Barcelona.

Day 5: Barcelona - Girona – Barcelona

Board a train from Barcelona to Girona. The medieval architecture in Girona was often the perfect backdrop for the show. We'll take you on a detailed visit to the various places in Girona where the show was filmed, including the church near the Pujada de Sant Domenec, the Cathedral of Girona, the Sant Llorenc des Cardassar, and the Jewish quarter where Arya Stark is attacked by the waif while begging.

Head over to the Arab Baths, featured in an episode where Arya Stark tried to hide while being attacked by the waif. Explore Besalu on your own before heading back to Barcelona, and before you go back to your hotel, you will also get to see the area that served as Highgarden or the seat of House Tyrell in Game of Thrones. But that's not all - our guide will also explain the fascinating history of Girona.

Day 6: Barcelona – Bilbao

Take a flight from Barcelona to Bilbao. Our tour representatives will take you to your hotel in Bilbao. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the different attractions around your hotel.

Day 7: Bilbao

Explore the city of Bilbao and the places where bits of the show were shot. Visit La Muriola Beach and the San Juan de Gaztelugatxe island fortress in Bermeo, Basque Country. While Muriola Beach was a part of King's Landing and the place where Davos picks up Gendry in Season 7, the latter became famous as Dragonstone, the ancestral home of Daenerys Targaryen.

Your tour guide will also show you around Bilbao, explaining its rich history and heritage. Some places you will explore here include Casco Viejo or Old Quarter of Bilbao, the Gran Via Area, New Bilbao, and the Guggenheim Museum.

Day 8: Depart from Bilbao

Check out from your hotel and head to the airport to board your flight back home.
