Day 2: La Rioja – San Sebastian
On your second day, you will visit a traditional winery in La Rioja that has been around for 125 years and is run by the members of its founding family. After a round of wine tasting, you will visit San Sebastian to spend the night.
Day 3: Tasca Bar – Bilbao
Our tour guide will take you around San Sebastian to explore its lesser-known cultural spots. You can head to the city’s bars, taverns, entire neighborhoods, and tapas bars to learn why it’s such a beloved snack in Spain. After a fulfilling meal, get back to your hotel and get a good night's sleep.
Day 4: Catedral de Santiago - Guggenheim Museum
You are free to explore Bilbao on your own. Visit the Catedral de Santiago, built between the 14th and 15th centuries. You must visit the Guggenheim Museum, a 20th-century building that reflects the sleek and contemporary design of its time.
Day 5: Bilbao – Oviedo - Picos de Europa – Covadonga - Fuente De
Drive from Bilbao to Oviedo, visiting Covadonga, Picos de Europa, and Fuente De on the way. Covadona is famous for its lakes and beautiful landscapes. The Picos de Europa National Park is home to the world’s deepest caves, including the Torca del Cerro and Sima de la Cornisa. The highlight of the Cathedral is the huge incense burner that’s swung vigorously across the Cathedral, leaving the entire place smelling of incense. You can spend the rest of the day at your own pace.
