After you land in Madrid, our tour representatives will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Once you’re done checking in and freshening up, you can begin your fabulous Madrid trip.
The first stop for the day is the Temple of Debod, an Egyptian temple built in the 2nd century BC. To explain this temple’s significance, motifs, videos, and audiovisual materials are projected on its walls. While the original Temple of Debod was built around the 2nd century BC in Aswan, Egypt, during the 20th century, the Egyptian government gave the temple as a gift to Madrid. It was rebuilt stone by stone in Madrid.
After this, go to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, a national museum displaying 20th-century art. The museum was inaugurated in September 1992 and is named after Queen Sofía. Return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your pace.
On the second day, you will witness the beauty of the many architectural marvels of Madrid through our Hop On Hop Off Tour. You will be given a headphone to learn about the different monuments along the wahyu, a map of the city, and discounts at various restaurants and stores.
