Day 1: Arrival at Calgary Airport and Transfer to Banff
Upon your arrival at Calgary International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Banff. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day to leisurely explore the renowned Banff Avenue. You will spend the night at your Banff hotel.
Day 2: Banff to Lake Louise - Scenic Exploration
Start your day with a delightful breakfast and then by checking out of your hotel and leaving your luggage in the lobby. You'll then embark on an Explore Banff Tour that offers stunning vistas of the resort town of Banff, nestled amid the towering mountains of Rundle, Tunnel, Cascade, and Norquay. The tour will include stops at Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain Drive, Surprise Corner, Hoodoos, Two Jack Viewpoint, and Lake Minnewanka. Here, you have the option to take a one-hour boat cruise to observe the local wildlife and vegetation, including the intriguing Devil’s Gap at the foothills of the Rockies. Later, you'll enjoy a gentle ride on the Banff Gondola, which will take you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, providing a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the Bow Valley. In the afternoon, you will be transferred from Banff to Lake Louise, where you'll find the famous turquoise, glacier-fed lake surrounded by towering peaks and graced by a magnificent chateau. You will spend the night at your Lake Louise hotel.
Day 3: Lake Louise
On the third day of your journey, you will venture along the breathtaking Icefields Parkway, known as Canada's most scenic mountain roadway. This remarkable route will lead you to remarkable sights, including glaciers, lakes, and waterfalls. Your first stop will be the Columbia Icefields Discovery Center, where you will embark on the thrilling Ice Explorer Ride, taking you up the Athabasca Glacier. Afterward, you will hop on a coach at the Discovery Center, which will transport you to the Glacier Skywalk. This glass-floored observation platform offers a spectacular, unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers and the Sunwapta Valley. As you continue along the Parkway, you will pass by the Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, and Bow Lake. The remainder of the evening is free for you to relish the enchanting beauty of Lake Louise. You can partake in a variety of optional activities, such as kayaking, hiking on trails leading to Lake Agnes, riding the Lake Louise Gondola, and much more. You'll spend the night at the Lake Louise hotel.
Day 4: Lake Louise to Calgary
Wake up to a hearty breakfast. Today, it's time to check out from your Lake Louise accommodations and make your way to Calgary Airport for your onward flight.
