Itinerary

We all know China for its dominance as an economic powerhouse. Apart from its international status and delicious food, the country has several architectural and cultural marvels for tourists to experience. If you have always wanted to explore China, then you must check out our Beijing educational tour package.

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

After arriving at the Beijing Capital International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative and taken to your hotel. Once the check-in formalities have been completed, you can either relax at your hotel or head out for a bit to enjoy an acrobatic show at the Chaoyang Theatre.

Day 2: Forbidden City - Tiananmen Square - Houhai

Eat a delicious breakfast and leave for a full day of sightseeing in Beijing. Start off with the Summer Palace, which consists of a hefty combination of palaces, gardens, and lakes. This is where you can witness the Marble Boat and the Long Corridor.

Head to Tiananmen Square, where a series of protests had taken place in 1989 against inflation and corruption. Next up is the Forbidden City, which is reputed to be among the world’s most well-preserved wooden structures. Witness the beauty of Houhai Lake and explore the nearby courtyards, lanes, and bars.

Day 3: Great Wall of China - Juyong Pass - Bird's Nest

Start off the day by visiting the famed UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Great Wall of China. This is where you will also come across Juyong Pass, from where you can go to the Longdi Jade Factory and get some precious souvenirs for yourself.

Finish the day by laying your eyes on the Beijing National Stadium, which also goes by the name of Bird's Nest. It served as the venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics as well as the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai

Leave Beijing in the morning to board a flight to Shanghai. Once our tour representatives help you get to your hotel and finish the check-in formalities, you can then head out to explore the city of Shanghai.

Let your first stop be the Jade Buddha Temple, which was founded in 1882 and houses two jade Buddha statues. Indulge in some shopping at People's Square. You can also choose to go to Madame Tussauds Shanghai before heading back to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Shanghai Museum - Yuyuan Garden - Yuyuan Market

The first spot you will be visiting today is the Shanghai Museum which contains displays of paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and calligraphy. Let the lush greenery and floral beauty of the Yuyuan Garden engulf you before you move to the Yuyuan Market to shop for handicrafts and antiques.

Visit the Oriental Pearl Tower, and there is also the option of going to the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. Have dinner at an Indian restaurant and get a good night’s sleep at your hotel.

Day 6: Xitang – Xintiandi

Today, you will be taken to Xitang, which is a water town whose history dates back to 1000 years. Filled with rowing boats, old buildings, cobbled streets, and bridges, the quaintness of the town is something to relish.

Later in the day, you can head to Xintiandi, a rich car-free shopping, entertainment, and eating district located in Shanghai. Peruse through its restaurants, cafes, and malls before going back to your hotel.
