Itinerary

Dublin and Belfast are two amazing cities in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, respectively. While the latter is famous for its museums, pubs, and entertainment avenues, Dublin is popularly known as the historical and cultural hub of the Republic of Ireland. If you’d like to explore these two cities on a single tour, visit us to check out our customisable Dublin group tour package itinerary.

Day 1: Arrive in Dublin

Our tour manager will help you transfer to the hotel when you arrive in Dublin. Complete the check-in formalities and prepare for the Hop On Hop Off tour to explore Dublin. The tickets for this tour are valid for 48 hours and allow you to enjoy different tourist attractions at your own pace.

Some of the tourist attractions covered on this tour include the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol, Old Jameson Distillery, and the most famous Trinity College.

Spend your afternoon enjoying international cuisine or local Irish fare. The rest of the evening can be enjoyed at leisure.

Stay overnight at a luxury hotel in Dublin.

Day 2: Dublin Full Day Tour

You’ll begin your day with a full Irish breakfast. The next stop on our tour is the Wicklow Mountains, the Garden of Ireland. Some attractions include the Powerscourt Waterfall, Powerscourt House and Gardens, and other historic sites.

The next stops on this tour are the picturesque towns of Enniskerry and Glendalough. The latter is famous for its monastic monuments from the medieval period. Some of the beautiful villages you’ll cover today include Laragh, Rathdrum, Roundwood, and Avoca. Don’t miss out on Ireland’s oldest mills, the Avoca Handweavers. They have been hand-weaving clothes for over 300 years.

Day 3: Dublin to Belfast

Check out from your Dublin hotel to catch your train to Belfast. The journey takes around 2.5 hours and offers a spectacular view of the beautiful cities. As you arrive in Belfast, check into your hotel before beginning your city tour.

Some of the places you will cover here include Titanic Belfast. This six-storey building details the story of Titanic, including its conception, construction, the famous maiden voyage, and its tragic end. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, make sure you don’t miss a customised tour of all the places where the drama series was shot.

Spend the night in Belfast.

Day 4: Belfast – Giants Causeway – Belfast

After breakfast today, you will head to Carrickfergus Castle. This Norman castle is one of the best-preserved medieval structures in the country. Later, you will explore Carrick-a-rede Ropebridge and Giants Causeway, the highlight of today’s excursion. The latter is full of stories and mysteries thanks to its rugged coastlines and spectacular waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Spend time climbing the ancient stones before retreating to one of the many cafes and restaurants along the causeway. After lunch, hop on to your bus again to visit the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, Bushmills. There are a few souvenir shops and a bar where you can enjoy this famous tipple.

And if you have any energy left, end the day with a visit to the ancient Dunluce Castle before returning to Belfast.

Spend the night in Belfast.

Day 5: Depart Belfast

After breakfast, check out of the hotel before moving to Belfast City Airport to continue with the next leg of your Europe tour package or catch your return flight home.
