Itinerary

Explore the beautiful culture of Thailand with our Bangkok and Chiangmai Tour Package itinerary. Includes Wat Phra Singh, Chiang Mai Market, Wat Trimit & other attractions.

Day 1: Arrival In Chiang Mai

Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, our representative will greet you and help you transfer to the hotel. We’ll leave you to refresh, briefly explaining the itinerary and the dos and don’ts of visiting the many temples.

Chiang Mai is a beautiful city famous for its unique temples, chedis (stupas), boutique hotels, and night markets. It is also the best place for adventure activities like trekking, river rafting, and visiting the many hill tribes.

You are free to explore the city at your leisure before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chiang Mai Temple Tour

Your day begins early with a complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel. Our tour guide will explain in detail the different temple styles and the differences between Thai, Burmese, Lanna, Sri Lankan, and Mon styles.

Begin the tour with Wat Phra Singh, one of Chiang Mai’s most revered and oldest temples. You will admire the chedi’s striking Lanna architecture and the Phra Buddha Sihing statue here.

Your next stop is Wat Chedi Luang, a 14th-century temple famous for its enormous stupa, which is around 282 feet high and 144 feet wide. The temple, which once held the holy emerald Buddha, one of the most sacred objects in Thailand, was destroyed in an earthquake. You can interact with the monks in the temple and ask questions about Buddha and Buddhism. But do not take their pictures without their permission.

The next stop is Wat Suan Dok, a 14th-century temple blending Lanna and Burmese styles. The temple, today, houses relics of Chiang Mai’s royal family.

Take a lunch break before moving on to the Chaing Mai Market, the largest and most famous market in Chiang Mai, selling a range of products like shoes, bags, handicrafts, and electronic items.

Day 3: Chaing Mai

Begin the day with a scrumptious breakfast buffet at the hotel before proceeding to the Mae Tang Elephant Camp. Some attractions here include elephant shows, elephant rides, ox-cart rides, etc. You will drive through scenic roads and mountains leading up to the camp.

Your next stop is the Sankampaeng Area, famous for Thai handicrafts like lacquerware, silverware, and famous Thai umbrellas. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay at your Chiang Mai hotel.

Day 4: Chiang Mai to Bangkok

As usual, begin your day with a breakfast buffet at the hotel. Our tour representatives will transfer you to the Chiang Mai airport to board your flight to Bangkok, Thailand’s capital. Upon arrival, we’ll take you on a half-day city tour to explore the different temple monasteries like Wat Pho, Wat Trimit, and Wat Benchamabopit. The tour will also explore the famous gems and jewellery stores in and around Bangkok. Here, you can buy semi-precious stones like jade. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bangkok.

Wat Pho is famous for its giant Reclining Buddha statue and the city's largest temples.

Wat Traimit is famous for its giant golden statue of Buddha, considered one of the biggest in the world.

Wat Benchambopit, also known as The Marble Temple, was constructed during the 1800s with marble imported all the way from Italy.

Day 5: Depart Bangkok

After a scrumptious breakfast, move on to Indra Market to end your tour with some souvenir shopping. Leave Bangkok with beautiful memories of the city and its temples.
