Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Upon your arrival at Beijing International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representatives who will assist you in transferring to your hotel. As a warm welcome, indulge in a refreshing welcome drink upon reaching the hotel. Later in the day, explore the iconic Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and the Water Cube (exterior only). You will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 2: Exploring Beijing
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Your first stop is at Tian'anmen Square, the largest square in the world. From there, proceed to the Forbidden City, a historic palace complex that served as the seat of power for Ming and Qing dynasty emperors. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to visit a renowned pearl shop and explore the Summer Palace, including the Marble Boat and the enchanting Long Corridor. In the evening, immerse yourself in the captivating world of Kung Fu with a thrilling show before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3: Beijing to Shanghai by Train
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, preparing for a day filled with exploration. Embark on a fascinating journey to the Longdi Jade shop, where you'll have the opportunity to delve into the captivating world of Chinese Jade Culture. From there, your adventure continues as you make your way to the awe-inspiring Great Wall at Juyong Pass, an esteemed UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a remarkable defensive marvel.
Following this incredible experience, it's time to make your way to the railway station for your train journey to Shanghai. Upon your arrival in this vibrant city, the tour operator will be there to ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel. Settle in and unwind as you prepare for an enjoyable overnight stay in Shanghai.
Day 4: Shanghai
Kickstart your day with a scrumptious breakfast and embark on a cultural journey to the Shanghai Museum. This venerable institution houses a treasure trove of ancient artefacts that offer insight into ancient wisdom and philosophy. The museum is thoughtfully divided into three exhibition halls and eleven galleries, making it a delight to explore.
Next, head over to People Square and Nanjing Road, both excellent spots for a bit of shopping. Visit the silk shop, and then venture into the enchanting Yuyuan Garden, replete with its charming golden fishpond, picturesque bridges, and tranquil pavilions. Your exploration continues with a visit to Yu Market and a photo stop outside the bustling TV Market.
As the sun begins to set, you're in for a treat – enjoy a leisurely Huangpu River Cruise, taking in the shimmering lights of this dynamic city. After this delightful experience, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure from Shanghai
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast. Spend your morning exploring the city and indulging in some retail therapy. As the afternoon approaches, make your way to the airport, where you'll board your departing flight.
