Itinerary

Day 1 : Coimbatore-Chennai-New Jalpaiguri

Gather at Coimbatore Railway station and travel to New Jalpaiguri by Train. Reach at Chennai Railway station.

Day 2 : New Jalpaiguri

This day is set for travelling.

Day 3 : New Jalpaiguri-Gangtok

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway station, our agent will receive you and transfer to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5500 Ft /1677 Meters, 130 Kilometers / 04 to 05 Hrs). Sign in hotel and enjoy your overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Gangtok

After morning breakfast, start for a pleasure trip to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) no entry will be permitted for foreigner and they are permitted to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a legal permit. It should also have to be 02 & above in number to visit Tshangu Lake. The chill water of the Lake is absolutely adjusted with the scenic attractiveness in the region. Return to Gangtok and spend your overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : Gangtok - Darjeeling

On morning, start for a half day (04 hrs) tourism covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show, By noon, transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts, 115 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs) and night stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Darjeeling

Early morning, travel to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft/ 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to apparent weather conditions). On way back visit Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing of Peace pagoda, Japanese Temple, Padmaja & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included and approximately INR 180.00 per person) & Gombu Rock and Tenzing, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate, night at Hotel.

Day 7 : Darjeeling-Calcutta

After morning breakfast, continue to NJP Railway Station (100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) and board a train to Kolkata.

Day 8 : Kolkatta

On arrival at Kolkata, meet and relocate to Kolkata hotel, refresh and visit after lunch, continue to a half day tour of the city covering Kali Temple the great pilgrimage centre of Hindus, after that cross the river Ganga over Bidyasagar Setu (well identified as 2nd Hoogly Bridge) and reach at Botanical Garden to experience the 200yrs old Banyan tree and at last come to River Side to experience the panoromic view of both the famous bridges of Kolkata. Enjoy your overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Full day city tour of Kolkatta

After breakfast, depart for full day city tour covering Howrah Bridge. Proceed to Belur Math (H.Q of Ramakrishna Mission), Dakshineswar Kali Temple, The House Of Rabindranath Tagor(Campus of Rabindra Bharti University). Followed by lunch break, visit The British Colonial Area (well known as Dalhousie Square where we see Raj Bhawan, Kolkata High Court, Kolkata Town Hall, General Post Office Building, Writers Building etc), then proceed to Victoria Memorial (The best building made by the British in India, Which was inaugurated on 1921 by Prince of Wales in memories of Quinn Victoria), Indian Museum (largest in Asia & Third largest in the World) founded on 1814 on the basis of the collection of the Asiatic Society.

Day 10 : Kolkata

On the last day morning after breakfast, move for shopping and evening drop at railway station and board a train to Chennai.
