Day 2: Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo

On the second day of your journey, we leave the vibrant city of Auckland and head south through the lush Waikato region. Our destination? The enchanting Waitomo Glowworm Caves.

Our next stop is Rainbow Springs, a haven for New Zealand's trout, birds, and wildlife. Later, we head to the Agrodome for an authentic New Zealand farm show, featuring sheepdog demonstrations, cow milking, and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Today, we are going to venture to the southern edge of Lake Wakatipu, making our way to Lumsden before heading to the serene shores of Lake Te Anau. Along the way, we'll traverse the awe-inspiring Eglinton Valley and pass through the magnificent man-made Homer Tunnel, an engineering marvel. Our destination: the renowned Milford Sound, a place of wonder and tranquility, presided over by the majestic Mitre Peak.

We'll embark on an awesome cruise through the world-famous fiord, where nature's beauty knows no bounds. As we sail through the pristine waters of Milford Sound, you'll be captivated by the grandeur of the surrounding cliffs and the serenity of the deep-blue waters.
