Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Bucharest
Arrive on the international airport of Bucharest. Transfer to the hotel, overnight at the hotel in Bucharest.
Day 2 : Bucharest – half day optional trips
Today after breakfast the day is free at leisure or optional half day tour. Enjoy a visit of the Romanian capital city: you will admire the Revolution Square, the main Orthodox church in Romania, the Village Museum – an open-air ethnographic museum, the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, People’s Palace (exterior) – the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon of the U.S.A. and walk on Calea Victorei (Victory Avenue) - the oldest avenue of the Romanian capital city with it is impressive buildings and luxury shops (3 hours – without entrances). Overnight at the hotel Bucharest. (B)
Day 3 : Bucharest – Optional trips – Timisoara
This morning breakfast in the hotel, full day free to explore the city. Evening transfer to Bucharest Railway station for the night train to Timisoara. Overnight in the train. (B)
Day 4 : Timisoara – Belgrade
Morning arrival in Timisoara Railway station and transfer to the capital city of Serbia, Belgrade. Arrival and accommodation at hotel in Belgrade.
Day 5 : Belgrade
This breakfast at the hotel and tour of the city with an introduction into the past and the present of the capital, history and secrets of numerous sites: Belgrade Fortress, the Orthodox Church, the Patriarch's Palace, Princess Ljubica, Knez Mihailova street, numerous theaters and museums, squares, old and the New palace, the Parliament of Serbia and many other interesting buildings. In the afternoon free time. Overnight at the hotel in Belgrade. (B)
Day 6 : Belgrade
Today after breakfast at hotel. Free time for self-exploring or optional excursions. Overnight at the hotel in Belgrade. (B)
Day 7 : Belgrade – Zlatibor
This morning departure to Zlatibor. On the way visit Sirogojno, a village in Serbia located on Mt. Zlatibor. In Sirogojno there is also an open-air museum, or "ethno village" known as the Old Village Museum, covering nearly 5 hectares with authentic elements of ordinary life collected from all over the Zlatibor region from the 19th century. Arrival in Zaltibor and overnight at the hotel in Zalribor. (B)
Day 8 : Zlatibor – Podgorica
Breakfast at hotel and departure to the capital city of Montenegro. Enjoy an afternoon walking thru the center of the city with the house of King Nikola and the Ribnica Bridge built in the 15th century. Overnight at the hotel in Podgorica. (B)
Day 9 : Podgorica, day trip to Kotor Bay
This morning after breakfast at the hotel and departure to Adriac sea coast for a walking throughs the beautiful city of Kotor, a city fortifed since 535, a great maritime crossroad during the ages. Afternoon return to hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Podgorica. (B)
Day 10 : Depart Podgorica
Today after breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport to board your fight back home or continue your journey to next destination.
