Colombo is Sri Lanka’s capital city, famous for its stunning beaches, delectable food, colonial architecture, street markets, and beautiful temples. The people are equally amazing and welcoming to tourists. If you’re planning to visit Sri Lanka, check out our Colombo holiday tour packages.

Day 1: Colombo - Kandy

Upon your arrival at the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, our tour manager will welcome you and help you transfer to Kandy, the second largest city in Sri Lanka. Kandy is Sri Lanka’s second-largest city and the last headquarters of the ancient Sri Lankan kingdom. Some tourist attractions in Kandy include the Sri Dalada Maligawa, also called Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Royal Botanic Gardens, Udawatta Kele Sanctuary, and Kandy View Point.

Check in at a luxury resort to spend the night in Kandy.

Day 2: Nuwara Eliya

Today, you will begin your day with a hearty Sri Lankan breakfast before heading to Nuwara Eliya. Also called Little England because of its colonial bungalows, Nuwara Eliya is famous for its mountain valleys, tea plantations, and waterfalls. Some of the other attractions in Nuwara Eliya include Seetha Amman Temple, Victoria Park, and the Horton Plains National Park.

End the day with a boat ride on Gregory Lake before returning to a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Nuwara Eliya to head to Bentota. The journey takes around 5 hours and is absolutely scenic. Bentota is famous for its beaches, watersports, and Buddhist temples.

Check into the Blue Beach Resort and spend the night at the luxury accommodation.

Day 4: Bentota - Colombo

Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast. Later, head out to explore Bentota's top attractions. Some places you will visit include the Kande Viharaya Temple, Turtle Farm, Galle Dutch Fort, and Ventura Beach.

Later in the day, you will head to Colombo to explore the city’s top attractions, including the Colombo Museum, the Natural History Museum, the 18th-century Dutch church of Wolfendhaal, and the ancient 6th-century BC Kelaniya Buddhist Temple.

End the day by shopping at one of Colombo’s street markets.
