Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our tour representatives will greet you and help you get to your hotel in Kandy. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a bit. Venture out to explore the city of Kandy.
Start off with the Royal Botanic Gardens, located near the longest river in Sri Lanka and home to a humongous collection of orchids. Proceed to the Temple of the Tooth, which also goes by the name of Sri Dalada Maligawa. The temple is known to have the relic of the tooth of Lord Buddha.
In the morning, have your breakfast and then leave for Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. As you make your way to your hotel, feast your eyes on the mountains, strawberry fields, and cultural attractions of the city.
Take a tour of one of the tea factories in Nuwara Eliya before offering your prayers at the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and Seetha Amman Temple. Make a stop at the gorgeous Horton Plains National Park before getting back to your hotel for the night.
In the morning, take your time as you relish a scrumptious breakfast. You have the rest of the day to spend at leisure.
On this day, you will be leaving Nuwara Eliya and heading towards the coastal town of Bentota. Once the check-in formalities are complete, you can get ready for a day of fun-filled activities, such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, parasailing, and banana boating.
In the morning, have your breakfast and then head out to explore Bentota. You can tour the herbal gardens before going to the Turtle Hatchery, which was built to prevent turtles from going extinct. The rest of the day can be dedicated to enjoying more water-based adventures.
On the sixth day, you will be transferred to the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Check out the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), which was built between 1970 and 1973. Get back to your hotel in Colombo for the night.
Dedicate this day to exploring Colombo. Go to the Old Parliament Building and visit the many temples in the city. Later in the day, indulge in some shopping at spots like House of Fashion, Majestic City, Odel, and the local souvenir stores.
