Stunning Sri Lanka

Begin your day with a delectable breakfast of Sri Lankan cuisine, including string hoppers, hoppers, and coconut roti. Later, head out to Madu Ganga, the second-biggest wetland in Sri Lanka. The river covers over 150 acres of land and includes 14 of the 24 mangrove species in Sri Lanka. The mangroves are home to over 300 plant and 250 animal species. Tourists visit the mangrove to enjoy bird watching and boat rides and explore Cinnamon Island. The island is also famous for its ancient Buddhist temple in Koth Duwa.

Later, proceed to the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Centre, which was started in 1981 to conserve sea turtles and protect them from poachers and predators like birds and dogs. You can join the volunteers as they feed and care for baby and injured adult turtles.

Return to the hotel to spend the night in Bentota.

Today, after breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head to Colombo. You will check into your hotel and spend some time relaxing. Later, you will tour Colombo City, exploring attractions like Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, Kelaniya Raja Mahal Viharaya, Dehiwala Zoological Gardens, and Beira Lake.

Don’t miss the street markets where you shop for spices, tea, gems, elephant and Buddha figurines, porcelain tableware, and batik wear.

Spend the night in Colombo.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and bid adieu to Sri Lanka as you wrap up your Sri Lanka package trip.
